Hi everyone, today we have one game meeting all criteria for “The Streak Breaker Play”.

PICK: Arizona Coyotes +160 (decimal: 2.60) vs Tampa Bay Lightning

Arizona has lost four games in a row, while Tampa is riding a 5-game winning streak.

This angle has not been doing well thus far. The last time I posted our record was 1-6 for a -$4.56 profit when making $1 bets. We lost both plays that night, so we were down to a 1-8 record for a -$6.56 profit.

Since then, there were a couple of days where a team met all criteria, but I didn’t have time to post:

  • Saturday, December 9: Winnipeg Jets +154 (decimal 2.54) at Tampa Bay Lightning
  • Tuesday, December 12: Carolina Hurricanes +152 (decimal 2.52) at Vegas Golden Knights

The Jets lost, while the Canes won.

Therefore, the updated record of this play stands at 2-9 for a -$6.04 profit.

The full details about this specific betting strategy that has yielded a +15% ROI over 9 NHL seasons can be found here:

Let me share two underdogs that I like tonight :

  • Washington Capitals +120 (decimal 2.20) at the Boston Bruins. Both teams have won 8 of their past 10 games. Washington is certainly not a worse team than Boston and the B’s played last night and are starting their backup goalie. How can the line be so high on the Caps? I see good value here.
  • New Jersey Devils +159 (decimal 2.59) at the Montreal Canadiens. Both teams have had ups and downs recently, but overall the Devils have done better. There are rumours that some Habs players don’t care too much about losing, and that there are some serious locker room issues. The line seems inflated, so I’m going to grab N.J. in this one.

Best of luck!
