Good Saturday everyone! We have a pretty quiet day in the NBA with only 5 games on the schedule. Unfortunately, I only see one play and it is rated 1 star.

PICK: Sacramento Kings +9.5 at Detroit Pistons (rated 1 star)

The Kings are coming off six consecutive losses, including three straight horrible performances. As a matter of fact, they have lost by 27, 18 and 27-point margins over those matches. Pathetic. However, two of those games occurred against top teams (Washington and Bostonc), while the other one was at the Pacers. Getting a couple of days of rest surely helps and I believe it will give Sacramento some time to regroup and find some rhythm back.

Meanwhile, the Pistons will be playing a second game in as many nights, but I did not penalize them as much as I usually do since both games are at home (so no traveling).

The Kings are 3-0-1 against the spread over the past four meetings between these teams.

Considering how Sacramento has done very poorly as of late, I expect most of the public to take the Pistons, so I would recommend waiting later before placing your bet. As of 10:50am Eastern Time, more than 60% are betting Detroit. The spread opened at 8.5, then moved to 9 following last night's win by Detroit, and this morning I have found a couple of bookies moving further to 9.5 (Bookmaker.eu and Bovada).

If you are American, Bovada is one of the most trustworthy sportsbooks and they currently offer a 50% bonus up to $250 USD. Click below to check them out!
