Free MLB Picks Tuesday September 5, 2023
Hello bookie crushers, how are you my friends? Today I want to share with you 2 MLB picks that are backed by the same betting system.
First, let me do a quick recap of what happened yesterday:
We got unfortunate with the free play as we lost the bet on under 4.5 runs to be scored in the first five innings of the Rockies versus Diamondbacks meeting. Through three innings, only one run had been put on the board, but Arizona added three in the fourth frame before Colorado killed our bet with a fifth run scored in the top of the fifth inning.
You can also see above that the two premium picks that were shared on mjpicks.com turned out to be winners. I especially enjoyed the Royals bet who were already up 12-0 after the completion of the fifth inning!
SYSTEM PICK #1: Minnesota Twins (@ -107 odds, at Cleveland Guardians)
The 2 picks I wish to present to you are supported by “The Blowout #1” betting strategy, whose rules are super simple to understand: bet any team that won its previous game by a margin of at least 8 runs if they are facing the same opponent today.
By following those rules, pick number one for today Tuesday September 5th is the Minnesota Twins who will be playing the second of a critical three-game series in Cleveland. Yesterday, the Twins destroyed the Guardians 20-to-6, and they will be looking to extend their lead in the American League Central division to seven games.
In order to do so, Minnesota will send the American League ERA leader, Sonny Gray, to the mound. In 18 career starts against Cleveland, he owns a 3.41 ERA, while his counterpart, Tanner Bibee holds a 4.50 ERA in two career starts against Minnesota.
These two pitchers faced each other last Wednesday. Gray dominated the Guardians lineup, but the bullpen squandered a 2-0 lead before losing the game 5-4. For this reason, I believe Gray will be looking for some payback.
I have to admit I’m a bit concerned about the betting action on this contest, though. As of now, only 33% of moneyline bets have gone on Cleveland, but 88% of the total money is on them.
That means that big gamblers, who are most likely sharp bettors, are taking the Guardians. Also, “The Blowout #1” betting angle has not performed extremely well this season, so I decided to place a smaller bet on this one.
SYSTEM PICK #2: Kansas City Royals (@ -112 odds, vs Chicago White Sox)
Before we keep going, I wanted to take 30 seconds to update you on my two sons’ baseball team, a team that I am coaching. In the quarter-finals, we were facing a tough team against which we held a 2-2 record during the regular season. The boys played an awesome game and came up with a 13-6 victory.
Then, in the semi-finals, the offense was on fire as we picked up a 22-15 win. Tonight we are playing the finals against the team that finished in first place just a hair ahead of us. In three regular season meetings, we posted a 1-1-1 record against that team so we can expect a tight and hard-fought game.
Wish us good luck, I’m already feeling super nervous because I want my boys to win this title!
All right, pick #2 in Major League Baseball for September 5 is… the Kansas City Royals! That should not come as a surprise if you understood the rules of “The Blowout #1” system correctly. The Royals are coming off a 12-1 win over those same White Sox, so we are betting that they are going to continue riding high.
Once again, I recommend proceeding with caution. Neither of this bet is a bargain, in my humble opinion. They are both good enough to bet, but if you tend to bet $100 per wager, I would advise to take it easy and risk an amount between $50 and $75. Just my 2 cents.
What worries me here is Dylan Cease. I know he’s been bad most of the season, and especially lately. If you combine his past seven outings, he has presented an abysmal 7.79 ERA, corresponding to 30 earned runs in 34 2/3 innings. What the heck is going on with him? Just last year, he got a stellar 2.20 ERA! He could potentially rebound against a weaker offense today.
Still, I’m backing the Royals in this game. Yesterday’s blowout certainly shook Chicago’s confidence (or what was left of it!), and with about 25 games left in the season, they might simply throw the towel and lose motivation, especially on the road. The White Sox own the league’s worst record since the All-Star break.
Meanwhile, Kansas City is also eliminated from playoff contention, but at least they will want to perform well in front of their home fans. Also, Brady Singer will be motivated after being activated from the paternity list. He and his wife Tori just welcomed baby Beau in their family, their first child. Congratulations to the couple, and hopefully Brady Singer will pick up the W to celebrate his newborn son!
Before I let you go, I have a quick question for you:
Would you guys have some interest in a NFL live stream where I would reveal second half bets between 2 pm and 3 pm Eastern Time next Sunday?
In other words, at halftime of the 8 games to take place at 1 pm I would tell you about some solid bets to place for the second half based on a method I developed a few years ago.
If you would be interested and you can guarantee that you would show up, please let me know in the comments section of today's YouTube video!
I’m Professor MJ, thanks for watching amigo!
